A SPECIAL GAME
Last Saturday, there was a remarkable choral competition. It was the 46th Cultural Cup Choral Competition held in SihWei Hall. Each department not only sang school song which was familiar with NCCU's students, but also practiced the elective song for a long time. The show was performed by 34 departments in turns. After the fierce competition, the Department of Radio and Television won the championship. At the same time, department of International Business which was last year's championship got third with an aboriginal song this year. Despite the fact that we didn't get any prize, we still enjoyed a great time. At least, we did our best. We enjoyed the time spending together practicing. Although we were not satisfied with the result, it was an unforgettable experience. It made our relationship much closer. After the competition, we had a meal together to celebrate our great performance.
Dear Dianyou:
ReplyDeleteHi,Cultural Cup is definitely a tiring but remarkable competion. Even though we did not get prize, either, we still had good time and enjoyed the practice time with our classmates. Well, because I did not watch the whole competition, what was your self-choosing song? The photo above looks so cool that I am very curious. Last but not least, I was little surprised that you did not mention to the food you ate after the competition. However, I look forward to your introductions of foods.
Ha ha~ there was me in that amazing picture!
ReplyDelete(Kathy, our self-choosing song was “A Shout of Praise”^^)
I had to say that the practices were quite hard and tiring before our competition. Nevertheless, we did have a great time singing or working together to pursue something. I remember that we gathered together so early in the morning to prepare for it, and everyone wore astonishing made-up, taking lots of pictures that day. You are right! The prize isn’t everything. It was worth that we got closer and had such a wonderful memory eventually!
